Barnes Coaches are one of the leading coach companies in the area, hopefully you may well have heard of us and seen our distinctive green coaches out on the road. For those of you who already use our services, thank you for your continued custom, for those of you who haven’t used us before, why not give us a go and see what you are missing out on.
We have a range of coaches from 8 seat mini-buses to 96 seat double deck coaches.
We always offer an exceptional service and can offer you some amazing deals on coach hire! The safety of our passengers has always been of paramount importance and we have been vindicated in the pursuit of this goal as we were amongst one of only 11 founder members nationwide of the DVSA’s EARNED RECOGNITION scheme for coach operators.

"The coach arrived on time, as always it was clean and comfortable. I always request Keith to drive us, he gives a lovely safety speech when everyone is on board. We travelled to Abba Voyage Arena, Keith got us in plenty of time. I always request Keith, as he has a high standard of driving skills, he is always helpful and polite, and he has a good sense of humour.. I have been booking Barnes Coaches for many trips over since 1991, and have no wish to use another company. 10 out of 10 to all Staff, employed by Barnes Coaches."

"9 May 2025. Coach trip from Swindon to NEC, Birmingham, for EuroPhilEx 2025. Coach on time both leaving and departing as well as at pick-up/drop off point in Cheltenham; driver excellent and helpful; vehicle clean and comfortable. All those who travelled enjoyed the event and the trip itself. Thoroughly recommend Barnes Coaches."

"Organised an airport run for a group of 8 lads for a stag do, highly recommend barnes as a company, from start to finish service was excellent. Booking was straight forward and good communication from the off, both drivers there and back were excellent with us and both up for a laugh. Ended up with a larger bus on the way out with more space which we weren’t expecting and was an added bonus. Highly recommend barnes for any of your travel needs"

"Another fantastic evening out with Barnes Coaches to Birmingham for Andre Rieu. Service as always, second to none. Our driver Patrick picked us up from our stop and safely delivered us to/from Birmingham. Well done Barnes. Even arrived early enough for a quick tipple in the bar beforehand!"

"West Berkshire Ramblers have used Barnes for their coach walks for a number of years and have always been impressed by their service. Sunday 27 April 2025 was no exception. Our excellent driver, Scott, was courteous and friendly at all times, efficiently dropping off groups of walkers at pre-arranged spots and waiting patiently in Windsor for us all to converge late afternoon. Everything worked very smoothly."
