Barnes Coaches are one of the leading coach companies in the area, hopefully you may well have heard of us and seen our distinctive green coaches out on the road. For those of you who already use our services, thank you for your continued custom, for those of you who haven’t used us before, why not give us a go and see what you are missing out on.
We have a range of coaches from 8 seat mini-buses to 96 seat double deck coaches.
We always offer an exceptional service and can offer you some amazing deals on coach hire! The safety of our passengers has always been of paramount importance and we have been vindicated in the pursuit of this goal as we were amongst one of only 11 founder members nationwide of the DVSA’s EARNED RECOGNITION scheme for coach operators.

"Our trip to the IOW was enjoyed by all 26 members. This was enhanced by Barry (our driver) suggesting that in addition to our visit to Osbourne House we visited the Church at Whippingham which was Queen Victoria's Church. We had an interesting talk by one of the Volunteers which added to our pleasure. Without Barry's suggestion we would have missed a real 'gem' The Coach was clean and comfortable, Barry was extremely helpful and we would certainly recommend Barnes coaches to anyone. We will certainly be booking our future trips with Barnes. "

"Have just had the first of hopefully more trips as organiser, with Barnes. Absolutely everything was brilliant. Coach and driver Colin could not have been better - comfortable, clean,coach and Colin very helpful. Two passengers had mobility scooters and at EVERY stop he offered to get them out and was always happy to do so. The hotel (one of three suggested by Barnes, and chosen by me) was superb - The Derbyshire at South Normanton. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good food. Only down side was the price of the wine/bar. I think this is because there is a lot of corporate business, and of course the companies would pick up the tabs. Nice little earner for the hotel. But all of our party whilst not heavy drinkers would have had more if a sensible price. Also there is another pub over the road, where one could go for less money. "

"I was very impressed with the service after being let down by another coach firm Barnes helped me out and was very reliable the service excellent the driver was very professional and the Coach very clean normally we would have 45 people traveling but this time unfortunately we only had 24. Would definitely use Barnes Coaches next time we need a coach."

"Fifty-eight U3A members had an excellent trip to Wrest Park in Bedfordshire with our very capable driver Dave. As usual the coach arrived on time, was clean and comfortable and we had good journeys both ways. Dave was very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our day."

"I would happily use Barnes Coaches again, the coach arrived promptly the driver was most helpful with our elderly less able guests, All frames and wheelchairs were ready for them as they disembarked, It was a smooth ride by a very pleasant smart driver with a sense of humour. Thank you"

"Witney Horticultural Society took their members to RHS Gardens, Wisley. This is the second time we have had Barnes Coaches. Both times the drivers have been prompt, helpful and careful drivers. The coach itself was clean and comfortable and we had smooth journeys."

"The coach appeared on time, the driver was friendly and helpful. He drove very well. When we began the return journey, he was there to meet us, friendly and helpful again and we got back on time at 5.30. The service was excellent."

"We hired a coach for our wedding to take the guests the the venues (as we had a few and they were in the middle of nowhere!!) and Barnes were amazing! Everyone had such a good time on the bus, everyone was on time, Barnes did exactly want we wanted them too and because of them the day went so smoothly. The driver was a lovely man (put up with alot of singing) and the coach was clean and tidy. Would highly recommend them to anyone."
