Barnes Coaches are one of the leading coach companies in the area, hopefully you may well have heard of us and seen our distinctive green coaches out on the road. For those of you who already use our services, thank you for your continued custom, for those of you who haven’t used us before, why not give us a go and see what you are missing out on.
We have a range of coaches from 8 seat mini-buses to 96 seat double deck coaches.
We always offer an exceptional service and can offer you some amazing deals on coach hire! The safety of our passengers has always been of paramount importance and we have been vindicated in the pursuit of this goal as we were amongst one of only 11 founder members nationwide of the DVSA’s EARNED RECOGNITION scheme for coach operators.

"Barnes were helpful in every way, throughout the process from first enquiry onwards. They fulfilled every request, were on time with clean and comfortable vehicles (1 coach and 2 minibuses) and the driver was courteous and efficient. I have used Barnes on a number of occasions and they have never let me down. Definitely recommended!"

"The trip from the outset was great. The drivers on both journeys Sylvester and Sebastian were both very friendly and a credit to your company. I would definitely recommend Barnes coaches to anyone looking to book a coach. The bus itself was clean and well equipped. The service from the outset, booking through to our safe arrival home was great. The only thing I would feedback is to maybe text a little before the journey to the contact, just to confirm the drivers name, contact. Our bus was a little late due to the late notice swap of drivers in the morning. However the rest of the service was second to none!"

"Booking was very easy and Barnes were able to accommodate all our requests. The journey went as planned in a clean, comfortable vehicle. The driver was firm but fair with his instructions which entertained the passengers. I would use Barnes again."

"I dont like to leave a negative review but feel I have to get this off my chest,I booked the day trip to London,Thames cruise & London Eye for my son & his girlfriend,firstly the coach arrived 15minutes late,when they arrived in London at approx 11.30am they were told not to leave the coach whilst the driver went to pick up the tickets,it was a beautiful hot day,he didn't return until approx 12.35,they were then told to return for 4pm,not long enough to do what I'd paid for in my opinion,as unless my sons girlfriend hadnt asked to jump to tthe front of the queue they wouldn't have had time to go on the eye,as for the journey they had a family with unruly children running about on the coach,shouting rather than speaking,nothing was said to them, passengers commented on how my son must have a headache,not a great trip,shame as it was a gift."

Operator replied:
"Hi, we have already written to all passengers on this trip so hopefully you have received the letter by now. We have followed the same procedure for collecting tickets many times before. Unfortunately on this occassion the agent we use had our order wrong and were struggling to cope with large numbers of passengers. We have offered everyone on this trip a £10 voucher as a gesture of goodwill. With regards to the late pick up in the morning, unfortunately this was solely down to traffic. We also apologise for the behaviour of other cutomers on board, our drivers do their best to limit the effect of troublesome passengers on other passengers if they are made aware of any problems. Many thanks.

"The Journey went well with a well planned route and suitable break points. The driver was very friendly and helpful and made the trip fun. Coach was always clean, with bags supplied for rubbish. The 53 seater is more comfortable as there was more leg room"
