Barnes Coaches are one of the leading coach companies in the area, hopefully you may well have heard of us and seen our distinctive green coaches out on the road. For those of you who already use our services, thank you for your continued custom, for those of you who haven’t used us before, why not give us a go and see what you are missing out on.
We have a range of coaches from 8 seat mini-buses to 96 seat double deck coaches.
We always offer an exceptional service and can offer you some amazing deals on coach hire! "An interesting journey,with Steve, a very knowledgeable driver. His interaction with the passengers was very good.My mother and i were picked up promptly at the stated time,and were dropped off at Groundwell ind estate A pity about one of the feeder vehicles, which should have been at Reading Services,which made us late leaving with the possibility of missing our allocated time for Ferry. Steve did point out to us of the situation caused by this hiccup, and apologised on behalf of the company and that Mr Barnes was aware and did all that was possible to remedy this. Fortunately the missing feader caught up with us at a service station, Any way, we caught the ferry, at the correct time. we arrived quite late at the first overnight stay Kaiserslautern Hotel, this is in no way a reflection on Steves driving,the Hotel was a comfortable experience, and for breakfast there was a good selection to be had. Hotel La Perla was adequate the food was not fantastic but ok!!. The Dolomites was fantastic, Lake Garda was wonderful, Lake Iseo!, not enough time on the itinery, needs changing. Steve was a fantastic driver very kind with a good sense of humour, and kept us amused on the rides. By the end of of a sentence we were saying TOUGH, We Name him Steve Geronimo Tough, and would have him again on any other holiday. "

"Thank-you yet again for the excellent service that your company provide the coach arrived on time with a first class Driver I cant recall his name but his attitude to customer satisfaction was brilliant. We had great banter with the driver who was giving our friends from up north some stick they loved it. The journey both ways was a pleasant one. we go to Newbury for our clubs annual race day in September every year and your coach company will top of my list next year comfort travel at its very best "

"Our trip to the IOW was enjoyed by all 26 members. This was enhanced by Barry (our driver) suggesting that in addition to our visit to Osbourne House we visited the Church at Whippingham which was Queen Victoria's Church. We had an interesting talk by one of the Volunteers which added to our pleasure. Without Barry's suggestion we would have missed a real 'gem' The Coach was clean and comfortable, Barry was extremely helpful and we would certainly recommend Barnes coaches to anyone. We will certainly be booking our future trips with Barnes. "

"Have just had the first of hopefully more trips as organiser, with Barnes. Absolutely everything was brilliant. Coach and driver Colin could not have been better - comfortable, clean,coach and Colin very helpful. Two passengers had mobility scooters and at EVERY stop he offered to get them out and was always happy to do so. The hotel (one of three suggested by Barnes, and chosen by me) was superb - The Derbyshire at South Normanton. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good food. Only down side was the price of the wine/bar. I think this is because there is a lot of corporate business, and of course the companies would pick up the tabs. Nice little earner for the hotel. But all of our party whilst not heavy drinkers would have had more if a sensible price. Also there is another pub over the road, where one could go for less money. "

"I was very impressed with the service after being let down by another coach firm Barnes helped me out and was very reliable the service excellent the driver was very professional and the Coach very clean normally we would have 45 people traveling but this time unfortunately we only had 24. Would definitely use Barnes Coaches next time we need a coach."
