"This is the 3rd time we've used Barnes Coaches for a compnay event, and again I must say their service is second to none. The process is very simple, the rates are very reasonable, they have always turned up on time or should I say in advance of booking time, the coaches are spotlessly clean and the drivers are very courteous/knowledgable. I can say without any doubt that we will be using Barnes for our next coach requirement as it's one less thing to worry about when you're booking an event."

"I have used Barnes coaches a few times now and always thought the service was decent. The last couple of times I have used Barnes I have not been impressed at all! Yesterday I used Barnes to go to the air tattoo, pick up was fine and on time, but when we arrived we were clearly told to be back to the coach for 6 or else the driver will be leaving with or without us. Bare in mind we paid for these tickets and the actual flying display didn't finished until 6, we were sat on the coach watching the displays which I found absolutely appalling! But that wasn't the worst... when we arrived back to the coach we were greeted by the worst smell imaginable. The driver had clearly been sat in the warm coach most of the day with absolutely no deodrant! Put it this way, we were in row 11 and we were still trying to hold our breaths, so god bless the people sat at the front of the coach! I am going to be writing you and email regarding this experience because it was appalling for the amount we paid for it. I will then explain the "clown" we had taking us to London for Guns n Roses, he was the only person that thought getting back to swindon at 4:30 am after leaving London at 12:30 am was hilarious! I will not be using Barnes coaches again after these experiences and will definitely NOT recommend anyone to use this service. Please contact me regarding names of your employees, so some action can be made against this!"

"we hired 8 Barnes coaches to go to pick up various schools form the Swindon area and to drop off, Barnes were very well organised and really accommodating, This really helped us with our event! They were great!"

"The journey was fine with the coach arriving ten minutes ahead of booked time. The coach was clean with really comfortable seats. The driver was smart, the only little thing that was a shame he said he preferred us not to leave lunch boxes on the coach as it would be locked, so they had to be carried around. Overall good and would recommend to others."

"Booking very easy. Clean coach. Helpful driver. A bit late in arriving to meet us. It would have been helpful to know that the driver had a mandatory 45 minute break - slowed us down a bit."

"I researched a number of coach companies for my daughter's wedding; to transport guests from Devizes (where the the reception was and where everyone was staying) to the wedding service at Avebury (where parking is a real problem on a summer weekend) and back to Devizes. I was somewhat surprised to find that Barnes offered by far the best prices and a range of seating capacities. Not knowing at the time of booking how many people would take up the offer of coach transport ( It's amazing how many people you have to chase up after you've sent them an RSVP invitation!) I booked the largest, with the option to downgrade to a smaller coach if required, subject to availability at the time. I found both Jan and Linda to be very helpful with the booking process and there was no problem at all when I requested a change to the smaller 61 seater coach. I only travelled on the return journey since the outward trip was with my daughter in the chauffeur driven white Rolls Royce I had hired! I found the coach driver to be polite and helpful and a number of people said how impressed they were with the coach. A longish review perhaps, but I have nothing but praise for Barnes Coaches and if I need to hire a coach again or hear that a friend needs to hire one, that is where I shall be heading or directing. "The journey took a bit longer than other years but could have been due to heavy traffic. Thr Driver was very helpful and pleasant. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and the air conditioning was very good. As it was a very hot day this was excellent. Have never had trouble with Barnes in the past and woukld use again and recommend."
