Having established the port of Invergordon's first successful taxi concession between 2007 and 2010 Duncan Maclean went on to establish the port's first independent bus/coach tour operation Invergordon Bus Tours. Since then the port has gained the status of becoming Scotland's busiest cruise port by visitor numbers, and Invergordon Bus Tours has firmly established itself as the port's leading licensed independent bus/coach tour provider offering best value and ever popular shore excursion opportunities to growing numbers of independent minded tourists visiting the northern Scottish Highland mainland on ever increasing numbers of the world's finest cruise ships.

"Stumbled onto this group as we left our cruise ship for town. We were lucky as they were close to sold out. We took the trip to Inverness. What could have been just a bus ride turned into a history lesson/travelogue. On the return trip a songfest broke out as our tour guide Ali sang to us. An angelic voice she has, too! The whole trip was worth more than I paid for sure. Super clean bus and a friendly driver that did a great job. They are located the gate on the way to town but be early as things sell out. So worth it!"

"We used Invergordon Bus Tours in September 2022 and were extremely happy with the level of service from received. The booking process was very easy online and were met at the cruise port and straight onto our coach for the day. The coach was clean and comfortable and both the driver and lady guide were very helpful and informative throughout the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our day exploring Invergordon and the Loch."

"Die Bustour von Invergordon nach Inverness hat super geklappt. Pünktlich, sauber, Fahrer und Guide waren sehr nett. Der Guide erzählte auf der Busfahrt einiges zur Region. Wir haben allerdings einiges nicht verstanden, aufgrund der schottischen Aussprache und des schnellen Redens, aber das war letztendlich nicht so tragisch."

"Easy prebooking and online payment via website. In Invergordon Port outside the port area is the stand where you get your tickets and any information you need. Short walk to the bus stop, Informatoin about Inverness given by the guide (english speaking only) on the bus. Drop-off and pick up within walking distance to the town centre. Safe driving, bus clean and in good "condition". Also recommended for day trips they also offer."
