"Since my husband ( the driver) died I have been using Kings Norton coaches to give myself a few days out. I have found the booking easy , the trips interesting (shame about National trust at the moment) and the drivers helpful and polite. I have been on several trips since lockdown ended and feel very safe. The seating is spread out as much as possible and we all wore masks. I've been with two drivers Peter and Steve and they have both been very cheerful. Just sit back and let someone else take the strain."

"The journey went very smoothly it was good to be back on kings Norton’s coach the driver was very smart and helpful and kept the virus guidelines coach was very clean and comfortable looking forward to next trip"

"Nice driver shame about the passengers & his lack of insistence on face covering. At least half the passengers were not wearing face coverings as they walked down the coach to leave, so they probably hadn’t bothered to wear them at all, and I could see 4 people wearing masks incorrectly, leaving their noses uncovered. It all felt very unsafe & I intend to cancel another trip I have booked with them"

"Jill, I am sorry to hear that you felt unsafe. This was our first excursion operated this year due to the pandemic and as you can understand the face mask rule is all very new to us as it is with everyone. I have a spoken to the driver and he said he did make it clear from the beginning that everyone is required to wear a face a mask/covering when on board the coach. There are face masks signs on every window down the coach and everyone who booked had a copy of our Covid-19 safe operating procedures document, which outlined this as well. The driver is unable to police this when driving as this would be very dangerous to keep looking back to check everyone is wearing a face covering. If you had raised this issue with the driver at the time - he would have clarified the face mask rule if you felt uncomfortable about it. Some passengers did make the office aware that they were exempt from wearing a face covering for medical reasons at the time of booking - so some of the passengers that you may of seen not wearing a face mask may have been exempt.
We will be sure to make more efforts to enforce the face mask rule in future. Sorry to hear that you intend to cancel a future trip. We are
doing our best to get back up and running whilst keeping everyone safe in these unprecedented times. Other reviews from passengers on the same excursion have been singing our praises on how well we have made travelling a Covid safe experience with the measures we have put in place.
