Having established the port of Invergordon's first successful taxi concession between 2007 and 2010 Duncan Maclean went on to establish the port's first independent bus/coach tour operation Invergordon Bus Tours. Since then the port has gained the status of becoming Scotland's busiest cruise port by visitor numbers, and Invergordon Bus Tours has firmly established itself as the port's leading licensed independent bus/coach tour provider offering best value and ever popular shore excursion opportunities to growing numbers of independent minded tourists visiting the northern Scottish Highland mainland on ever increasing numbers of the world's finest cruise ships.

"Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to travel with. Our driver drove very responsibly and provided assistance to those needing it when departing the bus. The vehicle was extremely comfortable and clean. We did not feel rushed at any time and thoroughly enjoyed our journey. And, the weather was perfect: sunny and warm, but not hot."
