"We hired 2 coaches and requested that they have toilet and DVD player. We were advised we would have the new 51 seater executive coaches, but what arrived was 2 very tired coaches without either of these facilities. One of the coaches broke down an hour into the journey and there was smoke coming into the coach which meant that we had to vacate the coach onto the M3 hard shoulder (families and elderly people). No toilet on the coach meant we had to go in the bushes. We were aware that the coach driver had topped the coach up with water befor the journey so he was clearly aware that there was an issue and this coach clearly could not of made a 2 1/2 hour journey to Bournmouth. The communication with the coach company was extremely stressful, as they felt it was good enough to send a mechanic and even told us that the issue was resolved and that the coach was driving on M3 according to their tracker. The manager was completely condescending and we had to really push for them to send another coach. There is so much more that can be said about this diabolical service by in summary we will not book with this company again and would not advise anyone who wants a stress free day to either. We have complained in writing and tried to call to demand a refund as this completely ruined our seaside trip but have been ignored. We are investigating what the next stage of escalation is and will not let this matter The drivers were pleasant but the support service apart from a young man called Bradley was terrible. The manager Richard was very rude and condescending. The vehicle did not meat our expectations and the journey was terrible. We would appreciate if someone responded to our complaint and ideally refunded us."

"We booked a coach for a youth conference both ways. The coach met all our requirements especially for the luggage (we had a lot). The was smooth and the drivers were lovely and helpful; although the vehicle on our return was a tad uncomfortable. We still enjoyed the service. Thank you"

"The bus was supposed to be an Air conditioner one but there was hardly any cooling inside the bus since the air conditioner was ineffective. People were feeling really uncomfortable especially at the back but had no choice. I want to be compensated for this as I paid for an Air conditioner bus but unfortunately still had to bear the heat while in the bus."

"Absolutely abysmal. AtBus CANCELLED WITH 24 HOURS NOTICE. Yes, that's right, we had 120 seats booked for a school trip from London to Snowdonia, AtBus phoned 24 hours before it was due to leave to tell us that they could no longer provide our coaches. If you want to get to your destination, find a different coach company."

"1 driver was bit good.another on was nt good at all.they did totally opposite what they committed. the whole bus was totally dirty even the seat also the shed coach i ever seen"

"Driver was punctual, smart and friendly. Apart from one missed turning the journey was uneventful. Coach was comfortable and clean. All in all a pleasant experience and one I would recommend. Would definitely use again."

"Clean coach but very little legroom. Journey coincided with local Bournemouth football match so journey there took over 4 hours. Journey back was smooth and took just over 2 hours. Driver was presentable but not professional in dealing with customers. With his microphone on, he didn't welcome passengers witj a simplegood morning or keep us informed of traffic conditions rather he moaned about the need for a break. He arrived at 8.30am to pick us up and we departed at 9.10am after all passengers arrived. After driving for just over an hour, he stopped at a service station without any warning and told me that he had to have a break of 30 minutes and appeared very stressed. I asked him if we could please speak outside the coach to which he agreed. He told me that I shouldn't have chosen a coach from Croydon and that he had left at 7am and could only drive for 15 hours. I didn't understand why he didn't include his break from 8.30 to 9.10am. He explained that he needed a full 45 minutes. I said if that was the case why didn't he explain and wait 5 more minutes? He did agree to give us an extra hour to return to the coach. My grievance with him is that he moaned several times in full earshot of several passengers rather than just dealing with me. He even engaged other passengers with his stress. I had a contract with At bus which is based in Northolt, so I wasn't to know where the coach originated. Overall, he lacked courtesy and discretion and allowed his stress to impact on what was an otherwise enjoyable day trip. I have been on countless coach trips as a teacher and have never had to listen to a driver moaning before. While I understand that there are tachograph rules, some customer service training is essential for this driver. Our party were ready to depart at 9.10am only 10 mins past booking time and also ready at 6.45 pm from Bournemouth. We were waiting for one lady which stressed the driver but he should have explained to me as the organiser ( he had my phone number too) rather than complain to the passengers standing outside the coach. It put a bad light on the coach company."

"Driver and coach reported at pick up,point on time. Driver was smartly dressed, very friendly and sociable. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. The journey itself was smooth and enjoyable. The day was very good with lots of sunshine."
